Broadcasting I Diploma Program The Diploma Broadcasting I program includes courses designed to give the student the basic elementary skills to work in Radio and Television. The student is able to select an emphasis in either radio or television to give themselves additional experience in and exposed to the area of particular interest to the student. Positions that students who complete the Broadcasting I program would be qualified for are listed below. The program is ideal for students already holding four year degrees who wish t o take the radio/television program but for whom an Associated Degree is not of utmost importance., All courses offered in this program are also found in the Associate Degree at ICB. The diploma program is designed for the individual who is not interested in pursuing the management, programming or advanced levels of broadcasting. The Diploma Program is 34 semester credit hours. The program requires three fifteen week semesters to complete. Classes are offered in both the day and evening for your convenience. Employment Entry Markets: Radio On-Air Personality, Board Operator, Camera Operator, Television Lighting Technician and many other entry level positions.
