The Associate Degree program includes courses designed to give the student a full understanding of multimedia production and broadcasting, as well as preparation for employment in the expanding area of business and industrial communications.
The content of the program has been developed to enrich each student’s overall concept of business and technology in the ever-expanding field of multimedia production and broadcasting.
Basic and general educational courses enhance the student’s technical education and enable students to advance toward career objectives. Graduates from this program would be qualified for entry-level positions in the small and medium broadcast markets.
The Multimedia Production and Broadcasting Associate Degree program is 69 semester credit hours. Day and evening classes are offered and the program takes five fifteen-week semesters to complete as a full-time student. The program is also available on a part-time basis, where the length of time to complete the program is based on the student’s class load for the semester. The average class size is 12 students per class.
