Transitioning from high school to college is an exciting time.

It also is a transition that comes with lots of questions. The staff and faculty at ICB are here to help you along the way and answer your questions.

PICK ONE:

High School Students

As a high school student, you may be wondering “Where am I going and what am I doing after I graduate?” If you are interested in a career in broadcasting, recording, or multimedia production, check out International College of Broadcasting. We want to help!

Some of the big questions you may have are what’s the difference between a 2-year and 4-year college? How much is it to attend ICB? What’s it like at ICB? At ICB, our 2-year courses are focused on hands-on training and core classes to provide you with real-life application and knowledge of the industry. We tend to stay away from general education and theory-based courses and strive to teach you the knowledge you will need for your career after graduation.v

Attending a 2-year college is typically more affordable than a 4-year college. The cost of a 2-year program usually runs around half the cost of a 4-year college. ICB also offers financial aid to those who qualify. Students at ICB may also qualify for many different grants, loans, and scholarships. View our Financial Aid page for more information.

At ICB, we have a smaller student body with a more intimate class size. 4-year colleges normally have a much larger student body, with larger class sizes where students sometimes feel like they are just a number or just another student. With the smaller class size, you will have a more personal experience with instructors to help you work toward your career goals.

ICB graduates have become Disc Jockeys, Promotion Directions, Music Directors, Radio On-Air Personalities, Audio Recording Engineers and more. So, whether you are looking for a career as a morning show DJ or in a recording studio with your favorite artist, find out what ICB can do for you.

Parents of High School Students

As a parent of a future ICB student, we know you will have some questions. One of the biggest questions is about cost and financial assistance. We also know you will have questions about admissions requirements and what the future can hold for your son or daughter.

With ICB being a 2-year college, on average we run half of what a 4-year college would cost. We focus more on hands-on training, core classes, and real-world experience. ICB participates in the Federal Student Financial Aid Programs offered by the United States Department of Education. There are also many different grants, loans, and scholarships offered to qualified applicants. Please visit our Financial Aid page for more information.

We want to keep our admissions process as easy as we can and are here to help you each step of the way. There are just a few requirements for your child including proof of graduation from high school or its equivalent GED, a meeting with an admissions representative, and successfully passing an admissions test. For more information or questions please visit our Admissions Requirements page.

Our students success is our success here at ICB. We offer career placement assistance for our graduates as well as part-time job assistance for our current students. View our graduate success stories and feel free to contact us for more information about careers after graduation and career placement assistance. ICB does not guarantee employment or a minimum starting salary.

ICB is here to help you every step of the way through the admissions process and to help you with any questions you may have. This may seem like an overwhelming process but we are dedicated to not only helping your child, but to also helping you.
